Christal has a rare gift.  She combines a massive capacity for generating smart ideas with an uncanny ability to put them into action.

She is a creative professional to the core.  Christal began her career by applying her fine arts skills and education to communicate effectively in the arts and community sector.  Her ability to develop support for her vision allowed her to grow and expand programs at the Art Gallery of Alberta, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, University of Alberta, the Edmonton Arts Council and the nationally recognized Harcourt House Arts Centre.

Her commitment to creating successful relationships is legendary.

A natural fundraiser, Christal excels at building meaningful and high-impact personal relationships with donors and sponsors.  She specializes in the strategic use of special events, telemarketing and individual prospect cultivation.  She has successfully raised funds for every community and arts group she worked with, often designing and implementing the programs herself.  In addition, she has delivered successful campaigns for diverse charities including Save the Children, Toronto Public Library and Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago.

A seriously devoted foodie, Christal also co-authored and published the (sold-out) cookbook: Edible Gifts and Party Food.
